Full Moon is a Bonte game designed for JayIsGames's CGDC6. The theme of this contest is exploration. This game won 2nd place in both the Armor Games Awards category and overall, meaning another $500 (€473.67) for Bart Bonte.

Gameplay[]

You have to help the bunny find the food it is looking for in a full moon. However, that quickly only becomes the tip of the iceberg, since the bunny will not just use its wits to reach and get it itself. It needs your help.

Levels[]

  • Level 1: Click the bunny until it has destroyed the "n" in the name of the game.
  • Level 2: Click the owl 3 times and wait for sleep. Then click the black pear.
  • Level 3: One of the light bulbs is a dud. First, find it. Then, click all other light bulbs so the Granny Smith shows up.
  • Level 4: Ironically, this level is very hard as an early level. It has 3 parts:
    • to click the tree so one of its leaves land in the river—that is, every 3 clicks.
    • to drop the acorn onto the leaf.
    • to lift the stone in the river before it blocks or crushes the acorn and leaf.
  • Level 5: Hover your mouse over the balloon to inflate it. Keep hovering over the inflated balloon to bring the bunny to the Granny Smith. If you are not hovering over the balloon the entire time, the level will reset rapidly.
  • Level 6: This is basically a balance level. You will need to equalize the weight of both sides using the stones. Remember an object's volume determines its mass.
  • Level 7: There is a rotating circle with light bulbs on it, 2 of which are duds separated by another light bulb. Light all the non-duds to uncover the acorn.
  • Level 8: Move your mouse until both owls are hidden. Then click.
  • Level 9: Click owls to move them. If an owl is unable to move, it will switch the light bulb it is on. Light all light bulbs.
  • Level 10: The Granny Smith is hidden behind the 2 rightmost clouds. Drag both clouds to the right, then grab the Granny Smith while it is visible.
  • Level 11: Owls' eyes correspond to the light bulbs.
  • Level 12: Get the big bunny across the line, but make sure a bunny of greater size is not below a bunny of lesser size!
  • Level 13: Clicking a light bulb inverts all nearby ones. Turn on all the light bulbs. If you ever get stuck, use the owl to reset the level.

Trivia[]

  • This is 1 of 2 Bonte games that placed in the top 10 for a Casual Game Design Competition, the other being 40xEscape.
  • This game reuses some of the music from a previous Bonte game, Me and the Key.
  • This is the first game to use graphics seen in contemporary Bonte games.
  • The light bulbs might have been reused from A Bark in the Dark, except they are yellow in this game.
