Seen on Screen: An Online Puzzle Experiment is the fourth game published and launched by indie developer Bart Bonte.
Levels[]
There are 15 levels, each with a level code (the reason why ENTER LEVEL CODE exists).
NOTE: we have revised the guide to more user-friendly terms.
- Level 1 (code: touchme): There is a single button. Press it, but remember the text.
- Level 2 (code: touchwho): Watch the pink circle slide. Click the button it disappeared on.
- Level 3 (code: fishy): Click the fish. It moves back and forth every second.
- Level 4 (code: leftright): Did you know that you could turn the monitor? Click to the left of it twice, then to the right twice, or vice-versa. Then, press, "OK."
- Level 5 (code: upup): UP means you click the numbers in ascending order (from least to greatest).
- Level 6 (code: stop): You must stop all the monitors rotating. Clicking a monitor inverts its and the four surrounding ones' state (not/spinning).
- Level 7 (code: more): Did you remember the text on Level 1's button?
- Level 8 (code: clicky): Click two squares to swap them. Create a cyan fish. There are no holes in the fish.
- Level 9 (code: fishmore): Like Level 3, but with two additional fish.
- Level 10: It wants the level number (hence the level code this).
- Level 11: It wants the serial number (sn). Rotate the monitor, and you will notice the serial number is 1.0045. Ignore the decimal point.
- Level 12: It wants the current time of the device. Your input must be on a 24-hour clock, and the hours must have two digits, even if the tens is 0. For instance, if it is 7:33 AM, input 0733. But if it 7:33 PM, input 1933 because 7:33 + 12 hours (change to PM) = 19:33.
- Level 13 (code: down): Tap the letters of DOWN in descending order (Z to A) twice.
- Level 14 (code: ninetynine): 99 in binary.
- For some reference, a 1 represents 1, and with each new digit, the original number doubles, so 10 is 2, 100 is 4, etc.
- To make a number that is not a power of 2, add binary powers of 2. For instance, to make binary 23: 10000 (16) + 0 (do not add 8) + 100 (4) + 10 (2) + 1 = 10111 (23).
- Level 15 (code: fishes): Like Level 9, but with double the fish.
Trivia[]
- The title could have come from the term "as seen on screen," but the community does not know for sure.
- This is the last game Bonte has Flashback'd.
- On his flashback, he explained he wanted a break from escape games and dragged out his Commodore Amiga from the attic. This feature inspires the next game, Fields of Logic.
